| The Rahal-Letterman BMW hit the GT2 test track for the first time and the game is on.
As godug mentioned regarding the mid-season C6R[2?], our GT2 car will still look like a proper race car. The BMW racing iteration bears this out with wheel flares and air management ducting worthy of the recently mothballed F1 rules allowing aero tricks galore In fact, the BMW was developed using numerous F1 techniques including computational fluid dynamics [CFD] and wind tunnel analysis.
BBV was worried as, to us, the GT2 Ferraris look like street cars simply lowered / stickered / bewinged by some bad LA, CA tuner garage [regardless of how freakin fast they are, wish they looked more racecar]. And Porsches are....well.... Porsches.
So, with respect to the GT1 job still @ hand....eg- Le Mans to needs to be reclaimed for once, again, and forever[!], cant wait for the GT2 contretemps to start.
* Prussian Lizards, Blue Oval Swans, Prancing Italiano Horses, Professor Bobby and his Austrian Air Circus, Don & Sons Auto Garage, The Parliamentary Lords, The Coming to America Euro Transplants, The Leaping Cat Alumnus, and more [Visit here to decode the players].
and our JAKE!
Turn 1 in GT2 June will be awesome. Corvette testing is around the corner. Will keep the faithful [and rivals] posted. |
