| Spa24. The Other White Meat? | |

| In the US, some agency wizkid thinks 'The Other White Meat' is the way to ‘cook up’ attention for pork, eg- position it as 2nd to something else - chicken. The Spa24 FIA-GT race risks the same treatment vs Le Mans.
But, no fear of that because Spa is its own animal - greatly respected for its stand-out circuit configuration [a real challenge] and oft-challenging weather conditions [a real meteorological bouillabaisse].
The GT1 cars are the lead class so that makes Corvette and ilk 'The Stars of the Show'. 2009 GT1 has 10 entries - 3 Corvettes from the PK, SRT, and Sangari teams / 3 Maseratis / 2 Saleens / the Nissan GT-R / a Ford GT.
The Luc Alphand team, due to its situation, will not be in the race. Their driver, Xavier Maassen, will be with Sangari Team Brazil. Corvette Racing ace, Oliver Gavin will be with the SRT team.
This is the last GT1 Spa24 and let’s not forget the Corvette win in 2007. So, this would be a great time to reclaim the crown from FIA-GT rival, Maserati.
