WSCD: What Should Corvette Do?

Apparently afraid of competition, Audi continues to protest the ALMS rules between LMP1 and LMP2 by threatening to leave the series. Sound familiar?...

Unlike Audi or AM, we know our Vettes are not afraid of competition.

So, if no GT1 competitors show up in ALMS, should Corvette Racing move to GT2 and go kick some Porsche, Ferrari, and Panoz butt?

We're thinking ... well ... it's damn tempting!

What do you say?

I`ve always been a corvette fan and I`m really happy they kick everyone`s ass (viper, saleen, ferrari, astons....)
it`s true there`s no one to race in alms gt1, privateers are doing well in europe in the fia gt and lms.......well what`s the next step? gt2??? nahhh! what`s the point, way too easy I guess.
what I would like to see is the corvette racing in the super gt gt500 class in japan. I know there`s maybe no point in racing there marketing wise but I think it would be great seeing those bad boys thunder scaring the hell of the japanesse fans, and watching the c6r`s beating the nissan gtr`s.
I know rules are different but maybe an exibition race in a high speed circuit where a gt1 car has a bit of an advantage.
Wouldn`t you think that would be great???
