The Rahal-Letterman BMW hit the GT2 test track for the first time and the game is on.

As godug mentioned regarding the mid-season C6R[2?], our GT2 car will still look like a proper race car. The BMW racing iteration bears this out with wheel flares and air management ducting worthy of the recently mothballed F1 rules allowing aero tricks galore – In fact, the BMW was developed using numerous F1 techniques including computational fluid dynamics [CFD] and wind tunnel analysis.

BBV was worried as, to us, the GT2 Ferraris look like street cars simply lowered / stickered / bewinged by some bad LA, CA tuner garage [regardless of how freakin’ fast they are, wish they looked more racecar]. And Porsches are....well.... Porsches.

So, with respect to the GT1 job still @ hand....eg- Le Mans to needs to be reclaimed for once, again, and forever[!], can’t wait for the GT2 contretemps to start.

…and our JAKE!

Turn 1 in GT2 June will be awesome.
Corvette testing is around the corner.
Will keep the faithful [and rivals] posted.
