A Corvette C6 was the 1st winner in the new [Dutch] GT4 Championship. It also marked the 1st win ever for a Callaway Competition-built [and Corvette MotorSport-supported] Corvette C6 GT4 in the world.
I find it really sad that more corvettes are raced in Europe than in the United States. I don't have anything against NASCAR but there is too much of it. And if the big three and toyota stopped pouring dough on that series, we could be seeing racing series like the FIA GT.

Replying to the last comment about more europeans racing corvettes, I will add that Corvette now has a better chance of being bought by them (and surviving)when GM folds... And I am not alone with this tought... So I lift my Glass to all Badboys present and past: to where the future may roam; they shall ride like ghost riders with wins carved in stone.

Exactly while more corvettes are raced in different countries, that just adds to the corvettes stance as being a global winner. Ferrari and Porsche have always had that "it" factor in the racing community. You will always find one and/or both in some series around the world. Well now you can add corvette to that list as a global dominator.

Definitely a good first race weekend for us: 1st GT4 win ever and back to back GT3 wins in Germany!
