| | | God knows what we were Googling to find this. But, glad we did so we can share.
Scroll through this Hemipanter [?] site, find the 'Corvette Nordic Supercar' section and marvel at the design / build-up of this very wild C6 race car. If only the GT2 rules allowed this level of creativity!
Take time to enjoy all the other facinating autotopia, as well.
BTW - We think Goran Malmberg’s auto-bio 'explains' it all- "I am a 65 year old ‘former’ guitar builder [ed- ABBA was a client]. In fact, I still build guitars now and then for special customers. I [was] an old rock band bass player. Right now, I am working on my 2nd book about chassis engineering. As for sports, ski jumping was my favourite at young age. Slalom was the thing until my right knee got broken. In the 80’s I did a lot weight lifting / body-building. Model jet airplane racing is another favourite, using pulsjet engine. And of course, sportscar driving is top of the line.”
So, naturally all that lead to him to building a radical Corvette race car.... |

I got a question for the P&M gang; if GM pulls the plug on Pontiac (like the news says), do you folks think there is a chance that the Camaro would replace the GXP.R in the Rolex series? As much as I would hate to see Pontiac go, if it means the intro of the Camaro then I would think its a heavy, but worthwhile, price to pay.
