IPB Spartak Racing has withdrawn its Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT from the 2009 Le Mans 24HR GT1 entry list.
Now, we are left with only 1 AM / 1 Lambo to battle our 4 C6R’s for the final Corvette Racing GT1 act. With the earlier departure of the Gigawave AM, a Corvette podium is assured.
Assuming the Japan Lambo is un-competitive [which seemed to be IPB Spartak’s fear], then if we can convince one of the Luc cars to inflict a drive-by on the lone JetAlliance DBR9, we can all sit in pit lane, PARTY for most of the 24, and still SWEEP THE PODIUM @ La Sarthe on our final GT1 visit.
Godug, we offer up this strategy for free....Or you can just race all out ['Take No Prisoner's' style] and prove Corvette's real mettle. |
I think the 4 Corvettes should just drive flat out for 24 hours and see where it gets them......just like the last 9 years :)
