They blend GM heritage with new GM via ZR1. Witness this 1969 Camaro-in-progress getting dialed in with a dash of GM Performance Parts cataloging.

FYI... this particular first generation Camaro is not being built for SEMA. It's build is complete and has been for some time now. The car actually made it's debut appearance at this years (2009) "Detroit Autorama."

The car was built by one of GM's most respected engineers, Mark Steilow, that has a long and historian past with building first generation Camaro's into certifiable Z06 killers out of 40+ year old sheet metal. This '69 was built for a friend of his that has owned just about every one of the cars that Mark has built since the beginning of his meddling with the adaptation of late model technology into early model muscle.

This project merely just scratches the surface of what we have been doing for years with the first generation f-body... a little y-body mixed in... and of course, a BadBoy attitude.
