|  | | A GM press conference on Tuesday August 4th @ 1PM EST will mark the official debut of the new C6R ZR1-inspired Corvette Racing GT2 racecars. The cars will turn their first laps in competitive anger days later @ the ALMS race @ Mid-Ohio on August 6 thru 8.
BBV has tried to get a sneak peak @ the new graphics. To no avail.
So, we wait together to see what GM Design Center has crafted. But, since 'design' is a trend-oriented exercise and artists often explore a theme and then develop it in further interpretations.....
We start with this look @ the 2009 Brickyard Corvette Pace Car for consideration....and a few more recent GMDC designs via other Corvette Pace Cars - Here, Here, Here, and Here.

We wonder if any of these designs share a clue to the new GT2 look. Of course, we assume Velocity Yellow / Black, a ZR1 carbon roof....and maybe a hood window [decal]?
