This pace car splitting the GT2 field 2 races in a row is TOTAL bull !t. The competition is too good and splitting the field like that ruins everything.

Great pass by Johnny O! Too bad the Vettes have to run less HP on their race car than their street cars can produce (Z06 & ZR1). That makes a difference.

Great pass by Johnny O there at the end for another podium finish! The yellow flag rule has to be fixed ASAP, that kills the race when it happens. Hopefully they have worked that rule out similar to another auto racing series where a yellow actually brings the competition closer instead of ruining the race! Based on what Mr. Fehan said, he has already been working with officials on it. What else should we expect??

sad the race was decided within the first half hour. but at least the racing for 3rd through 6th was close and good to watch. great pass by jhonny o.

it is nice to see Speed TV focusing a little more on the GT2 class, thanks to Corvette Racing! We even got to see the contact between Patrick Long & Johnny.

While i was disappointed to see the yellow flag put everyone out of competition in GT2, i thought it was a real fun race to watch. My favorite thing to watch was around mid race when you had the Risi Ferrari trying to kee from falling 1 back to the lead BMW, the Porsche trying to pass the BMW and get back ont he lead lap, and the 2 Corvette behind the Flying Lizard. Sure enough in the middle of the battle as the BMW is trying to hold off the Porsche you have the #3 and #4 together muscling their way between both of them. That right there was enough to me to show that the move to GT2 was the perfect decision. While the yellow flag splitting the field was a load of crap, lets not take away anything from BMW they set their cars up perfect. Now the question is can they do that every upcoming race? If they can they look to be the team to beat this, and the next next season.

Glad to see someone mentioned the Corvette losing steam on the straight away. Prior to J'O passing the Flying Lizard, I was shocked to see that same Porsche run down and pass the #4. Even the announcers mentioned how easily the Porsche got the upperhand without a fight. Im sure the restrictor is the culprit in that situation. Either way the #3 did take it to the Flying Lizard, and proved that you don't give Corvette Racing an opening and don't expect them to capitalize. Either way great race guys!

Feels pretty good to see Corvette Racing in GT2 and racing some competition. Good race fellas and keep it up.

It's only a matter of time before the Corvettes win in GT2. I was at the race and they look good. We need to find just a tad more speed but the team's professional approach will probably have them on the top of the podium at Road Atlanta. Here's something to make everyone jealous. I was lucky enough to lap Road America shotgun in a 2009 Corvette Z06. The driver, Jason was an ex-professional and he turned a lap that I'll never forget. He is an amazing driver but the car was even more amazing! Chevrolet builds a car that is just as home on the racetrack as it is on main street.

Actually i believe the speed everyone is talking about is when the Flying Lizard that JO passed, overtook the #4 on the straight away without a problem. The BMWs were fast this race no doubt about that. The team set those cars up damn near perfect. Its only a matter of time now until CR sets up their cars in the same manner.
