Of course you don't see Corvette spitting something like this out..why? Becasue Corvette is a model, not a manufacturer..sheesh..get that right before you argue a point. Newsflash for you, Chevy sells wagons and four door cars too..Porsche is in the business of selling cars, just like Chevrolet. If this sells cars, then so be it.

Well now that VW is taking over Europe (at least it seems like it!) Porsche is probably going to go back to its racing roots, since VW will handle the non-performance base of customers and use Bentley for their luxury thirsty and Porsche for the Corvette's to just whip them up and down the track!!! :-D Corvette das auto, ja!!! And fyi, corvette is apart of chevrolet!! And the bow-tie will never die!!

Nice bit of smack talking! :P Porsche is really throwing away there sportscar image recentley. All for the money... Now that they are owned by VW they are going even further with plans of a car under the boxter and a smaller Cayenne... Spyker finishing before ANY Porsche in Le Mans this year after so many years of Porsche domination was quite symbolic to me!

Nice bit of comment, but I like the car. I have seen it drive past and it is nice to look at. In europe it has to compete with the maserati quatroporte and the bigger mercedes models, so strategically a good call by Porsche. As for the GM cars, they will all be running with FIAT engines pretty soon, so stop your yeppin!!

Hmm, I wonder if thats the same "strategic" thinking that got them in the hole they're having somebody else dig them out of. Oh and btw in case Holland didn't hear the news, the big three are doing okay so as much as I hate to bust your dutch bubble, that aint gonna happen! :-D

If the government had had any sense at all, they should at least have one of the big three go bust. It would have made people go unemployed, but it would have saved the rest of the american tax payers a lot of money.

So actually you are right, fiat owns chrysler, but their engines have been in the states for far longer and probably running in some of the models and of course vice versa.

Fiat does not have engines here in the USA, they may have parts for GM's engines but not complete blocks, that piece just means that they are sharing R&D and other info so they both can better the overall performance of their respective engines, this "agreement" is nothing more than one company communicating with another.
