It wouldn't be judgement day without the help of IMSA adding weight and restrictions to the C6R that enabled AM to win a few races this year. Without that they likely would have never won a race and we'd be wondering if they would even show up for Laguna.

Maybe you can regulate weight breaks and air intakes but you can't legislate the balls, brains, and bravado of Team Corvette.

The ALMS has chosen to enact a form of "racing Marxism":TAKE FROM THOSE WHO HAVE AND GIVE IT TO THOSE THAT DON'T. Well, let me tell you, it failed for Karl Marx and we aim to make it fail for the Aston Martin. If AM wins and gets 23 points and C finishes 2nd and get's 19 points then C wins. They don't need to finish 1st. At least that's the way I understand it.

i was going to call my bookie (HA!) to place three 25 cent bets. No. 4 to Win, Aston 007 to Place and No. 3 to Show, but after Today and reading MORE about IMSA rules-constant changes (AARRGH!!) i might want to put up 50 cents vs. 25 cents each on the upcoming bid table of "Judgement Day" as BBV calls it.
