Hello fans. Good attitude to have after the "novice" incident. Repeat after me: "We are good, but not as good as we think we are".

Guys, you're supposed to crash into Lizards, not each other!
--- errance from Tacoma, WA on 03.20.10 at 5:21pm
How did they manage that one??
--- Harley from unknown on 03.20.10 at 5:32pm
Unbelievable! It felt like living a nightmare watching it happen. GT2 is competitive enough without the Vettes handicapping each other! Let's hope this is the end of the bad luck this year.
--- Jayne from Berkshire England on 03.20.10 at 5:46pm
I'm far from abandoning my Vettes, but that is embarassing and pathetic. You guys say you have the fire...prove it.
--- screx0472 from unknown on 03.20.10 at 7:23pm
...in fact, I have heard a lot of talk, but I haven't seen any Corvettes walking the walk...its already put up or shut up time...two damn hours into the season.
--- screx0472 from unknown on 03.20.10 at 8:00pm
Hang in there guys!
--- Carl from Ohio on 03.20.10 at 8:00pm
Got home not to long ago, and saw the 3 and 4 were behind the leaders a few laps. Thought it would be a mechanical issue, but not this. Really puts a hurting to your ego, especially since the team is known to be the best. Keep fighting, we'll get them next time.
--- Joel from Miami, Florida on 03.20.10 at 8:20pm
Even without the pit accident it's doubtful they would have made the top three. Maybe fifth place. Count the laps they lost. It's alright CorvetteRacing, you're still number one. It's a long season.
--- Steve from Topsham on 03.20.10 at 10:06pm
I bet Danny Binks is hurting after that call.
--- Chris Draper from unknown on 03.20.10 at 11:04pm
shit happans.
--- Anonymous from unknown on 03.20.10 at 11:25pm
Corvette Racing is the best, they will bounce back, but shit happens'. What happen today won't happen again.
--- Anonymous from unknown on 03.20.10 at 11:32pm
Corvette Racing could have won to day, they weren't pushing that hard from the start,
--- Anonymous from unknown on 03.20.10 at 11:38pm
This is one of those days where you can whine about it or soldier on. CR soldiers on. Its good that accident happened at Sebring and not at La Sarthe or petite. When you make a mistake like that you learn from it and you remember it. So now this shouldnt happen at any of the later races since it happened early in the season. If that hadn't have happened, CR probably would have won seeing they slowly creeped their way up the field. Dont let this shake you ppl at corvette racing. Stay focused on the goal to win the championship.
--- 85L98 from Chicago on 03.20.10 at 12:13pm
Sorry; I can't agree with all the "it happens" or "lets move on" sentiment here. This is unexcusable, and some one should be fired!
--- Kevin from East Amherst NY on 03.21.10 at 5:32pm
"The mark of a champion is overcoming adversity and finding ways to win, and I know this team can do that." Johnny O'Connell. Enough said.
--- Vetter from Providence, RI on 03.21.10 at 9:15pm
This is for all the Monday night football fans "Come On Man!". I know we will bounce back but the competition is tough and it hurts even more when we take ourselves out of contention. Let's learn from our mistakes and get better. I was impressed with the fuel economy we got. The number 3 car ran 52 laps for their last stint. Was that the most by any of the GT2 teams? I believe we get an extra six gallons in our tank since we are running E85. The Flying Lizard Team ia also running on this fuel. They probably realize they will need to in order to keep pace with us.
--- Bonz from Mason City, IA on 03.21.10 at 9:18pm
Oh Damn! That was too bad =/ Can't have that happen at Le Mans
--- BBVFan from Denmark on 03.22.10 at 5:59am
This was just unacceptable. How did Binks manage to do this? Working in engineering, I have learned one thing, NEVER sign your name to a drawing because someone else told you its ok, always check yourself. I would have thought someone like Danny Binks wouldn't send a car because someone else said to... if you are responsible for telling the driver to go or hold... you better look yourself. The guy laying on the ground scraping a radiotor screen should not be sending the car. what an embarassment.
--- 63Jake64 from Milwaukee on 03.22.10 at 11:05am
Sending a car out of pitlane, you must watch oncoming traffic, and tell the driver high speed lane or slow speed lane, reset fuel, cold tires.
There is a regimen that is gone through every stop. This is no exception.
The only thing I can see is that the 3 car didnt leave spinning off the airjacks like the vettes ALWAYS do. Had he left spinning off the jacks, like they practice, they would have never collided.
The fuelers and pit crew probably are on their own channel, so they cant talk to the incoming and outgoing cars to tell them to hold.
--- Louis from Dallas on 03.22.10 at 11:28am
This was an accident waiting to happen..."Always" pit the forward car first so in this case the #4 should have pitted before the #3, of course this is not always possible when you have yellow flags etc. But for scheduled stops whichever car has the pit nearest pit exit should pit first and preferably a lap apart.
--- vetteheadracer from UK on 03.22.10 at 11:43am
Whoever said **** happens is wrong. This is the pinnacle of sports car racing and an embarrasment like that will conclude with heads rolling. Very out of character but then again Pug did the same thing last year at Le Mans and I understand the people(s) there got their P45.
--- Tom from London, England on 03.22.10 at 2:20pm
This has never happen to corvette raceing before. Usely one car come's in and then a lap later then other. It will never happen again I can tell you that. As I said before shit happens, corvette raceing is not the only team this has happen too,I've seen ferrari in f1 have some mis-calls before.
