Sucks that it happened, but I'm sure the team will learn from it. This will only make the team stronger, and faster.

I'm almost glad that this happened. Now Corvette can start fighting up for wins instead of having to always defend them. Every once in a while a team needs to experience the other side of the spectrum.

Didn't Johnny O have a power steering issue a few years ago in GT1? Perfect storm? I don't think so...I love my Vettes, but I think they have made some mistakes since coming into GT2...in the pits at Sebring...not going to rain tires at Petit last year. Hey, I'll cut them some slack since they have been racing each other for a few years, but I think they need to raise their game. They have the fastest car...now they need to work on their already amazing reliability and their pit strategy and execution. It was not a perfect storm...they just got beat. Onward and upward.

I agree with the last comment - we expect more from the boys - time to move on and get it done!

Sebring is almost like their Achilles’ heel. Back in the C5-R days they had one of the only engine failures ever at Sebring, then in the C6.R they had a brake rotor blow up, now this.

A buddy of mine said that in an interview, one of the Lizard drivers said that the Vettes were just toying with them. The Vettes were so damn good before the accident in the pits.
That doesn't matter. Only wins matter.

^^^agree. Both Long and Jorge commented that the Vettes were super fast...right up until they fell apart. They weren't eight or nine laps faster than the competition though.
