It may have been the 50th anniversary of Corvette @ Le Mans in Laguna, but @ Mosport, where Ron Fellows has achieved so much, there’s always an anniversary of something he's done great! Now, add winning a 2010 World Challenge GT race in a Corvette.
Yet, on this race weekend, he was not alone with Corvette Victory.
* John Heinricy swept the 2 GTS races in his black C5.
* In FIA GT3, Corvettes ruled in both races; a 1 - 2 - 3 podium sweep in Race1, the top 2 winning steps in Race2. Corvettemotorpsort.com has a video link to Race2 action. The double-winning Corvette here, the WorldCup-themed double-P2 car here.
* FIA-GT1 did not fare as well for Corvette with only a P5 in Race1 and a P8 in Race2.
The performance balancing weights and restrictor adjustments rejigging who’s fast and who’s not every event. But, the GT1 cars still look BadBoy-tough and MadCroc-ready. |
This car is one of our LG Motorsports built World Challenge Cars. We won Utah and Sears Point with that car also.
