| We love 0-60 magazine. And 0-60 loves Corvette.
* Hey, these are the guys that took a ZR1 to Pennsylvannia Dutch Country and Rumpsringa 2010 to lure Amish teens with the 'evil fun' of Corvette power before they sign into the Church and a life of Amish heaters cobbling!
Now, a website only [Damn you, costs of publishing vs the Internet!] 0-60 recently raised a question about Corvette sales - eg; Why are they down when competition is not?
We went looking for info to confirm or deny their concern.
* Real Fact - Corvette is UP nearly 1.5 points in share over last year.
* Real Fact - Although true that ALL Porsche is up 29%, Corvette's competitor - the 911 - is DOWN 17% YTD and down nearly 0.5 points in share.
But, we can't quibble with 0-60's article-ending 'Call-to-Action'. So, get out there and shop. If not as a gift for your loved one, do it for you. Don't let Corvette die and don't force Chevy to make a Tim Allen Corvette Sales Event commercial. |
