Mid-Ohio Should Not Be About PitStops

The ALMS-dictated performance adjustments are finally plugged into the BMWs and Porsches. Thursday Mid-Ohio practice suggests Corvette, once again, has the pace to race on-track vs having to fall back on in-the-pits strategies.

The Mosport-winning #4 C6R ZR1 with Oliver Gavin turned a 1:21.634 vs the Risi Competizione Ferrari, 0.058 seconds back. Tommy Milner put the #3 car third, with a 1:21.849. Lizards Porsche carried their 15kg extra weight to fourth. The BMWs were induction-restricted to sixth and ninth.
.....in practice.

It all gets officially serious from this point on. As likely will the Rules snarking.

But, Jake is back.
And he has no complaint carrying the weight of the Mosport Winner's Trophy into Mid-Ohio.
