Anyone know how heavy the engine is?... not relative to BMW or anyone else's engine.

I sure hope there is a 7.0 Liter version! :) I bet the 6.2 will get close to 30mpg all said and done.

I expect that this will be to only engine offered in 2014. Look for additional engines in the second year of the C7.

It's eye candy everytime Mr Kimble renders Chevy power and has been doing this for several engine generations. Up to this day, I dont like the term Small Block because there is a more precise and hystorically correct way of calling it: The Short Block V8. Of course the Big Block was actually the Long Block... A clever way of describing the center to center spacing of pistons! Let's take a pole. Who would like the return of the Long Block?

I think the small block and big block are better. I don't know about the terminology in Canada, but I have always known short block to mean an engine block with the crank, pistons, cam, and lower end and a long block to be a complete engine minus the intake.

So is this Active Fuel Mngmt the same one used at LeMans that caused a drivetrain failure? Or has it been revamped?
