Starting this Thursday, August 9th and continuing through Saturday's race, there will be times when our camera will be broadcasting live over the internet.
Sure, there have been web cams before, but none quite like this. Here's the plan:
1) Obtain wireless cameras and tape.
2) Find willing pit crew member.
3) Tape camera to pit crew member's head.
4) Broadcast what the camera sees over the interwebs.
5) Spend the weekend dodging TV/IMSA/Road America officials so we don't get in deep sh*t.
It's quite simple really... Steps 4 and 5 are going to be the hardest because that's what we haven't done yet, but we have done some testing and everything should work...
Check out the BBV PitCam page often, as most broadcasts will probably be unannounced.
