Always a Competitor
#3 C6.R captures the pole with Mag and J.O. cutting a lap of 2:00.973. #4 slots in second at 2:01.059. The Maserati pulls up third, BUT, closes the gap to only 1.005 seconds from pole.

Story over right? Not when competitive spirits are at play.

"Damn, you see the grip that thing has?", the Corvette crew notes as the Trident keeps going faster.

Well, ALMS gave the MC12 a bigger rear wing vs FIA-GT specs for more downforce. Then, it seems the side skirts are running closer to the ground sealing the undertray. But our boys, ever the playful competitors, simply put it down to "soaking the tires overnight" in softening compound....or Italian grappa to give them the "unfair advantage" that's generating the mysterious traction.

Anyway, watch the BBV PitCam as the CR crew applies with its own "go fast mojo" to the yellow beasts for today's action.

for a true comparison of cars you need to go up against the Vitaphone boys. Congrats on giving more back to the fans than any other team with the exception of the Lizards, I include all European teams in that.

Good Luck
