#008 Aston Martin leads #55 Saleen and #64 Corvette after the first round of Qualifying.
Reality, sometimes, comes at you as quickly as the braking point into the Mulsanne hairpin!
After a class-leading Test Day practice session for Corvette, AM and Saleen finally showed their speed in First Timed Qualifying. How much the rain affected the results is really a guess for us....... How much sandbagging occurred on the Test Day is starting to show itself.
Obviously, the game is far from over. Tomorrow, qualifying continues and the race is the ultimate reality where strategy, pit stops, technical endurance, and [yes!] the quality of the drivers will be the difference makers. |
We will be pulling for the 63 and 64 with all of our BBV gear on glued to Speed TV for 17.5 hours!!! Go show them the "Leader of the American Revolution"!
